Christmas in South Korea

Spending the holidays in South Korea was a memorable time. I forgot how much I hated the cold and toughed it out to enjoy the sights, the culture and most importantly.. the food. Korean food is my favourite food (my second favourite is Persian food) and I lived on bibimbap, spicy tofu soups, bulgogi and dukpoki for nearly a month. This was also the thinest I have ever been... something definitely in their food that lets you eat insane amounts and stay thin. My guilty pleasures were coffee and pepperro chocolate sticks between meals.

And more coffee. on Haeundae beach... I have a problem.

This bridge was the view from the condo I stayed in, but on the other side. Amazing view.

My absolute favourite day during my month in Korea was during my weekend in Seoul for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day where I watched their president ring a ceremonial bell at midnight, drank rice wine till my head ached and woke up early to visit a cultural village featuring the historic and cultural aspects of South Korea (and they also filmed many movies and TV dramas there!) The bonfire they lit on New Year's Day was bigger than a house!
